| PROVIDE full
address and phone number of each recipient & put that same info
inside the box. |
| PACK tightly. Don't
leave space around items, as they may vibrate against one another which
can cause breakage. |
| DOUBLE BOX
high-value, high-risk items. Be sure that you have 3-4” of peanuts in
between each side of the boxes. |
| USE PACKING TAPE, not duct tape,
not masking tape, and not painter’s tape. Don’t forget to reinforce the
bottom if you’re re-using a box! |
| BLACK OUT OR REMOVE all previous
labels and markings on the box—if it’s a wine box, it will probably get
held up in trying to get to a state that you can’t ship wine to! |
| SHIP EARLY! Save money by using
ground services. |
| If you’re shipping with Jack London Mail,
